The wire-mesh specification is more than a generic statement that the basket is “galvanized.” State the required hexagonal mesh opening, mesh-wire diameter, selvedge or edge-wire requirement, and coating requirement from the project documents. The stone fill is also a project item. Stone size, hardness, grading, appearance, source, placement method, and any filter or geotextile layer are not determined from a standard mesh photograph. Choose the coating requirement for the exposure
